Period of Re-Engineering to Broadcasting and Video Area since Founded

  • 1984

    TECHNONET Co., Ltd. was founded and started contracted development by a major manufacturer as a software development company.

  • 1987

    TECHNONET developed Chinese word processor in corporation with a major manufacturer.

  • 1989

    Re-engineering for R&D type companies for broadcasting and video field.

  • 1990

    TECHNONET delivered live sports broadcasting system to Beijing Asian Games.

  • 1991

    TECHNONET started to develop VFE-101, a high-definition character generation device for video.

  • 1992

    TECHNONET established D-STORM, Inc. and started to import and sell Video Toaster manufactured by NewTek of the United States.

Establishment period of technical service for real-time graphics for broadcasting

  • 1993

    TECHNONET began selling VFE-101, a high-definition character generation device, for video and carried on the full-scale operation of broadcasting real-time CG.

  • 1994

    TECHNONET was in charge of the sports broadcasting graphic system at the Hiroshima Asian Games.

  • 1995

    TECHNONET started to sell VFE-201HD, a high-definition character generation device for HDTV.

  • 1996

    TECHNONET developed a network type real-time computer graphic video server.

  • 1997

    TECHNONET announced VFEX-CG Server, a real-time CG device for HDTV.

  • 1998

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the HDTV broadcasting of Nagano Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup France.
    TECHNONET started to sell VFEX-WS, a CG workstation for broadcasting.

  • 2000

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the HDTV broadcasting of Sydney Olympics.

  • 2002

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the HDTV broadcasting of Salt Lake City Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan.

Period of standardization of 3D graphics and participation in video distribution service

  • 2003

    TECHNONET announced VFEX-R, a real-time 3D CG appliance of the next generation.

  • 2004

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the broadcasting of Athens Olympics.

  • 2006

    TECHNONET Established a subsidiary, CROSS TECH Inc., for developing new business.

  • 2008

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the broadcasting of Beijing Olympics.
    "Research and development of video distribution format and viewer to realize selective viewing" was approved for the project to be subsidized by NICT, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology.

  • 2009

    TECHNONET launched sports video distribution service and started business of website design.

  • 2010

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the broadcasting of Vancouver Olympics and carried on the full-scale contracted development of the internet video distribution service.

Period of expansion of business field and establishment of the internet video information service

  • 2012

    TECHNONET began contracted development of the internet distribution service such as golf live broadcast and started to sell VFEX-ES, a low price version of graphic generator.

  • 2013

    TECHNONET announced 4K compatible SportsCoder, a 3D CG appliance and began contracted development of graphic system for large-scale screen of baseball stadium.
    Satoshi Nambata assumed the post of the President.

  • 2014

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the broadcasting of Sochi Winter Olympics and CG of Korea Asian Games and FIFA World Cup Brazil.

Period of expansion and restructuring of group company towards new business development

  • 2016

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the broadcasting of Rio de Janeiro Olympics and test broadcast for Super Hi-Vision, 8K UHDTV.
    TECHNONET became a group company of INFOCITY, Inc., currently the parent company of TECHNONET, by capital increase from INFOCITY.

  • 2017

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the broadcasting of Sapporo/Obihiro Asian Winter Games.
    Digital image production project team and next generation sports video distribution project team were established.

  • 2018

    TECHNONET was in charge of the graphic system of the broadcasting of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup Russia.
